A sunny Saturday in June when water levels across Scotland were very very low, Davey and I decided to go paddle part of the Tay. Brookbank was having their official opening of their new shop so we popped in, at which point I realised I'd forgotten my spraydeck. Oops. Oh well. We decided to go up and do Grandtully to Dunkeld as it's a very gentle grade 1 stretch so I wouldn't get too wet! After we finished it was time for food and we investigated the Atholl Arms, since they kindly now let paddlers use their car park to load up boats right beside the river. I had a very tasty ginormous steak pie and Davey had fish and chips which was apperently also very good.
